Back in 2005  the only way I could seem to trade was to either employ skilled personel or to try and source suppliers locally – now I no longer employ people, instead I hire them either on a job by job basis or for set time frames.

I can manage their time, monitor their work and more importantly choose from a pool of talent that covers the globe – I currently have a virtual staff who operate from Romania, India, Philippines, China, Australia, United States along with others from the UK – and what’s more I don’t have to concern myself with any of the headaches that come with traditional staff e.g. wages, inland revenue, health & safety, discipline etc.

When you couple this global outsourcing and infrastructure with the low cost automation that the web also provides, you not only become more productive, you can also work from just about anywhere on our beautiful planet.

I’ve managed to increase my turnover by 100% in the last year alone – but here comes the important bit – without taking on new premises, new staff or new plant.
